Oversee a purchasing team buying and selling cars from members of the public through leadsgenerated via our on-line platform. My role is to be a sounding board for the team, to provide advice, support and training whilst ensuring the team works as professionally and as efficiently as possible. I was part of a small group of Directors that owned and managed Stray's Limited which consisted of a bookshop, a large coffee bar and a Tapas bar. The business turned over approx 1.2m per year. My key roles and responsibilities were to oversee the management of our large Bookshop. Project management, staff training and supervision. Store development and design. Business development, in-house marketing and design. Recruitment and training. Team building. Budget management, stock control and buying. Managed wholesaling division of the business. (Including management and running of warehouse and On-line outlet). Health and safety process monitor.
