Over the years, I have developed experience in handling cases covering a variety of issues and in several distinct areas, including complex mass tort, construction and employment. In the past several years, I have resolved a number of employment disputes for our clients, including securing a verdict for our client in a hospital employment dispute. I currently serve as Co-Chair of our Employment Practice.

  I focus my practice on employment litigation, trying cases to verdict and handling appeals for clients in Cook County and the Chicagoland Area. I have litigated race, sexual harassment, retaliation and national origin cases under Title VII as well as disability cases under the ADA and Illinois Human Rights Act and routinely handle administrative matters before the EEOC and the IDHR. I have also litigated cases brought under the Illinois Minimum Wage Law and Illinois Minimum Wage Payment and Collection Act. I regularly counsel clients regarding termination issues, including reductions in force, and assist with the preparation and revision of severance agreements and employee handbooks.Building owners, general contractors and other real estate-related entities retain me for their construction litigation, including personal injury accidents, design and defect, and contract disputes. I also defend and prosecute mechanics liens on behalf of my clients.
