- Answer ingoing calls for a large company focused on vacation water adventures in La Jolla, California. All sales are received as rental of equipment (kayaks, surfboards, stand-up paddleboards, snorkel gear, etc.) or activities (kayak and/or snorkel tour, surfing lessons) for individuals, groups of up to 15 in size, or other companies. This is a position that is paid hourly, on top of 5% commission of all sales - extra incentives possible. Day-to-day operations include:- Log bookings and information from third-party sites such as Airbnb, Groupon, Viator, TripAdvisor, etc. onto the booking site, Xola, used as the main operating schedule. Constant monitor required as bookings stream in throughout the day for various days, possibly day of.- Maintain a constant line of communication between the sales team (that did not exceed 3 at a time) to the shop where customers would check in and be the main hub of operations before being led to the beach for their activity.- Steady stream of customer relations experience as individuals call seeking a travel destination expert.
