With over four years of experience in the field of computer science education, I am a passionate and skilled computing teacher and leader. I currently serve as the Head of Computing at Neston High School, where I teach programming fundamentals to students from ages 11 to 18, using languages such as C#, Java, Python, and JavaScript. In addition to teaching, I am also responsible for developing and implementing the computing curriculum, aligning it with the national standards and best practices. I have successfully integrated technology into the learning environment, enhancing student engagement and outcomes. I have also led and collaborated with other teachers and staff, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills. My professional background also includes technical experience in providing IT support and managing technology projects, which has given me a solid foundation in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and project management. I hold a PGCE and a first-class honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Chester. I am now looking to leverage my unique combination of teaching, technical, and leadership skills in the tech industry, where I can contribute to innovative and impactful projects and be part of a dynamic and diverse team. I am particularly interested in roles that involve software development, technology integration, or project management.
