I managed the company’s consulting operations, encompassing all analytic and advice based services. Within the above I was required to develop the company’s knowledge of supply markets and associated costs, and provide these to operations to support the delivery of services, and to sales to support the organisation’s sales and marketing efforts.My responsibilities included:- Management, recruitment, development and retention of people within the analysis function- Delivery of the company’s consulting services, where required supplemented by specialist associate labour (includes the sourcing of that labour).- Providing analyst services to the full organisation to cover benchmarking for sales, data collation and processing for operations, and market information and knowledge for use within marketing activities.- Developing indexes and metrics to assist in the measurement and management of data on market and client performance.- Managing all resources to achieve a margin in cash and % that exceeds agreed budget levels.- Developing and managing IT systems and tools to manage the client and market data to the optimum, ensuring maximum value is gained from it.
