As a Quality Engineer, my role is to assist the Quality Manager with the continuous improvement, and maintenance of our Quality Management System. My directed focus is improving delivered quality to our customers, and act as the liaison between our customers and the management team at PAS USA Inc. I am a ISO certified internal auditor, an active participant in APQP and PFMEA and PPAP. I am responsible for preparing the corporate quality report monthly, and of course, I handle "other duties as assigned".

As a Quality Technician for PAS USA Inc, I was responsible for gathering, updating, and formatting the controlled documents of the quality management system. My responsibilities slowly included the the recording and reporting of customer satisfaction metrics (PPM) and assisting implementation of countermeasures. I assisted my quality manager with the preparation of our monthly quality report which recorded sales, production, scrap, first pass yield, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Under the direction of my Quality Manager, I was responsible for warranty tracking, customer return evaluations, and guided warranty reduction projects. I was responsible for improving the Quality Management System by writing and maintaining production work instructions on existing products, as well as new product released by engineering. I was elected by my manager to represent the Quality Department in multiple APQP teams. My other duties included documenting and reporting supplier defects, sorting non conforming materials, and following up with the suppliers on corrective actions.
