As part of my role as an Operations Senior Analyst at Manulife Investment Management, I support the Private Markets Onboarding and Oversight team through data maintenance, investor relations, and vendor management activities related to a variety of private markets products. My daily tasks include cleaning and restructuring data to be more effectively utilized by our onboarding and oversight team, engaging in wire callbacks with fund investors, and tracking outside vendor performance related to our products. This role requires strong attention to detail, time management, and data management skills.

My assignments consisted mainly of downloading, cleaning, and analyzing data related to possible scholarly article topics, mainly through the use of Stata software. I also conducted research into the existing literature related to possible scholarly article topics. These activities allowed my professor to assess the strength of a topic as a consideration for future papers that she will attempt to publish in scholarly articles.
