As an HR Business Partner, I collaborate with the COO to empower employees and managers with HR resources, programs, and policies. I champion the employee experience from recruitment and onboarding throughout their tenure, fostering a cohesive and standardized talent management strategy across the organization.

Under the direction of the COO. I manage the day to day HR functions including Payroll, HRIS, Benefits Management, Talent Acquisition, Workers Compensation, Employee Relations & Performance Review Management. Using foresight, I work closely with our CEO, CFO and VPs by providing data backed solutions for possible compliance issues to keep our organization integrity aligned with legal requirements and our organization core values.

Under the direction of the HR Manager, I supported the day-to-day HR operations that expanded across the HR team. I also worked closely with Office Managers and Hiring Managers to support employee transactions and processes that support the life cycle of an employee at the Y – hire to retire. My primary role is to complete HR processes, intake and resolution of employee issues, and elevate opportunities for operational efficiency to manager, team, and CHRO.

While under the direction of the Executive Assistant for the CEO I managed confidential personnel database following Risk Management guidelines. I managed administrative on-boarding procedures for new hires in the corporate office in addition to managing the daily tasks and weekly schedules for front desk staff. In this role I also approved timesheets for payroll processing, managed leave requests, overtime, promotions and unscheduled pay advances. While in this role I greatly supported the Talent Acquisitions department by initiating and managing all background check processing for over 18 of our Metro Atlanta locations.My greatest accomplishments while in this role was having the opportunity to partner with the Marketing Department to develop the YMCA - Atlanta career website and creating quarterly workplace morale boosting initiatives.

Under the direction of the Benefits Manager I tracked and monitored monthly key performance metrics designed to target gaps in fitness progress allowing wellness champions to influence positive change.While In this role I partnered with the Wellness Research Director to enhance Employee Wellness goals.I influenced staff to reach desired dietary and fitness goals by facilitating wellness training and meetings with branch wellness champions to build and expand on health coaching techniques that received the best result, fostering a sense of teamwork and collaboration.

While in this role I supported the donor relations manager with preparation of acknowledgement letters, pledge reminders and other mailings related to Financial Development while also being responsible for accurately entering data tracking pledges and gifts to the association. Lastly, I applied graphic design and video editing skills on special projects as needed.
