The Components Customer Account Representative II assists customers, satellite and shop team members by responding to requests or inquiries regarding Duncan Aviation component repair and overhaul services in support of financial and company objectives. In addition, this position monitors status of customer send-in units and provides teardown reports; uses technical knowledge to understand and communicate status information from the company’s work order; generates, processes and bills work orders; updates the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; and assists with training of new team members.

The Accessory Master Technician competently tests, adjusts, troubleshoots, repairs and/or overhauls core aircraft accessory components in a clean and safe work environment according to technical publications, Duncan Aviation approved procedures and customers’ expectations. In addition, this position passes on technical knowledge and trains less experienced team members; may serve as a Qualified Inspector (QI) with RTS authority for components and aircraft systems; and may serve as team leader in his/her absence.Essential Job Functions1. Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, and tests core accessory components using hand tools, power tools, ground support equipment, test equipment and technical documents. Orders necessary parts for completing the jobs. May serve as QI for components and aircraft systems. 2. Recognizes technical enhancements and researches and documents increased shop capabilities pertaining to new products and/or procedures. Fabricates of test equipment. Serves as technical point of contact concerning technical matters for area of expertise. Recommends and initiates measures to improve quality, procedures, efficiency and working conditions. 3. Provides OJT to team members and assists Professional Development Team with providing formal training in area of expertise. 4. Responds to requests for technical and airworthiness information and interpretation, from internal and external customers, for aircraft components and related systems. 5. Provides accurate repair and overhaul information for creating estimates and options. May review other technician’s estimates. 6. Researches, prepares and signs off various documents for record keeping purposes as required by Duncan approved procedures, manufacturers’ maintenance manuals and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, 8110-3’s and 337’s, W.O. Sheets, ESO, personal training log, and other work order related documents supporting the review squawks and expected hours).

Authorizes return-to-service for components.
