Winkfield Parish Council is a Local Government Authority serving all residents of Winkfield. The council runs local halls, pavilions, allotments and works with the police.

I volunteered in this role for five years developing junior cricketers. I ran both the Junior U11 and U13 Teams.I was able to teach cricket in local schools through my work at SCL and then encourage players to come and join Crowthrone & Crown Wood, which led to a boost in our player numbers. In recent years, we tasted success, taking on and beating larger, more established clubs.
