Logistics Program Manager (GS-12 /GS-13) March 2018-Present - Serve as the Logistics Program Manager for a classified test facility leading six Government personnel and five contractors.- Duties include being the overall integration manager for the facilities preventative maintenance, training, equipment operating instructions, equipment configuration data and spare part inventory. Duties regularly include working with senior managers to de-conflict time constraints and test priorities in order to successfully execute the logistics program. - Provide high-level briefs on a regular basis to NAVSEA08, NAVSEA05, NSWCPD Code 60 and Electric Boat summarizing the logistics readiness of the test facility. Briefs regularly include summarizing issues/ challenges and identifying paths for resolution.Logistician (GS-12) October 2015-March 2018 - Served as the Integrated Logistics Support project manager for the LPD17, LSD41/49 and LX-R ship classes. Duties included developing program metrics to stakeholders, managing the program’s budget and providing supply support to active Navy units. - Assisted in developing, procuring, warehousing and managing HM&E equipment for the NAVSEA 21 CG/LSD Phased Modernization Program. Duties included using Navy logistics data to procure spare parts needed to restore these hulls as they undergo modernization programs- Served as the lead logistician for the NSWCPD Commonality Team. Duties included performing deep dive studies to analyze life cycle cost of Navy equipment via NAVSEA business case analysis.- Completed the two year Navy Acquisition Development Program, which included rotations in DOD finance, contracting, logistics, science and engineering

- Assisted in integrating all four Navy public shipyards’ part catalogs into a single web-enabled database for the Navy Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) Commonality Program. The new web-enabled database was designed to be used by the supply and engineering departments at the public shipyards to identify Commonality preferred parts and MIL-SPECs for ship availabilities, thereby reducing the overall parts variation within the Fleet. - Provided project management support to the NSWCPD-Philadelphia Commonality Team (Code 315). Duties included regularly developing detailed project plans and schedules (POA&Ms), milestone/ Gantt charts and presentations for Navy Flag and SES level audiences. - Assisted in developing and administering the NSWCPD FFG Harvesting Program. Through the recycling and reuse of decommissioned FFG parts, the Harvesting Program helped mitigate part obsolescence and saved the Navy $80 million in FY13.

Senior Internal Auditor (GS-12)- Conducted supply support and financial audits of DON activities for the Research, Development and Acquisition Directorate (RD&A) and was in charge of a three-person investigative team. The purpose of our audits was to ensure that supply contracts and contract quality assurance policies were in place to ensure a steady supply of needed equipment to the warfighter at an affordable cost to the Navy. - Assisted the Naval Criminal Investigative Service with investigations of Navy personnel and agencies suspected of contract and financial fraud. These investigations were conducted to identify Navy personnel (civilian and military) who committed fraud during the contract award process and/ or contractors who fraudulently misrepresented their capabilities to win Government contracts. Our investigations helped the Navy recall $100,000 of misused funds

Career Intern (GS 7-9-11) - 28-month program of professional development focused on academic and on-the-job training. Consisted of rotational assignments in Government auditing, human resources, Federal contracting, finance, and DoD accounting procedures. Academic training included courses in DoD budgeting, financial management, working capital funds, and appropriations law. - Reviewed and approved contract invoices for payment via the Wide Area Workflow information system at Defense Finance and Accounting Services, Indianapolis. - Conducted investigations of Navy personnel accused of abusing Government resources with the Naval Sea Systems Command’s (NAVSEA) Inspector General’s Office. - Reviewed and approved Federal funding for Navy research projects while working for the Office of the Comptroller, Office of Naval Research. - Performed cost analysis, evaluated prototypes, negotiated contract pricing, and performed simplified acquisition contracting procedures for supply contracts with the Marine Corps Systems Command. - Performed Congressionally-mandated database pulls for periodic budget reports and assisted in developing Future Force budget estimations for the DON budget formulation process while interning for the DON’s Financial Management and Budget (FMB) office.
