• Managed all planning and development aspects of a 11,401 acre master planned community• Coordinated and managed all planning, design and construction activities for the creation of residential lots, commercial acreage, recreational space and utility facilities• Managed 10 direct employees as well multiple consultants (engineers, land planners, architects and landscape architects) • Responsible for producing yearly budgets for all development work, as well as long range strategic planning, estimating and forecasting for future development. • Project Engineer in the Project Management/Construction Management/Infrastructure Division• Work included overseeing several types of heavy civil construction projects from initial proposal through design to final construction• Lead a group of engineers (5-10 engineers) in managing and designing several large diameter (up to 96”) water line design projects for the City of Houston’s Accelerated Surface Water Transmission Program• Assisted with marketing efforts in obtaining large diameter water main projects throughout the country• Heavily involved in forensic investigations of pipeline failures. Worked closely with pipe manufactures to refine and improve specifications and products

• Project and Field Engineer for the Construction Department of a government contractor on a $900 million government contract in the Balkans Area of Eastern Europe. • Worked seven (7) days a week, with a minimum of twelve (12) hour workdays in an adverse environment, while following strict procedures set forth by the military. • Projects included planning, designing and constructing base camps and outposts, including troop housing, maintenance facilities, DFAC’s, laundries, water and wastewater distribution systems, water purification plants, waste water plants, electrical utility grids and fuel farms. • Responsibilities involved coordinating design and construction activities and interacting daily with the customer (The United States Military) and with the Base Camp Coordinating Authority (the Army Corp of Engineers)• Engineer-in-Training duties (EIT) in the highway group involve working in a group environment to design varying types of roadway and highway projects

Worked as an engineer-in-training (EIT) in the highway group. The job involved working in a group environment to design varying types of roadway and highway projects - including retrofits of old roads and bridges, redesign of existing infrastructure, and design of new roadways and highways. The job entailed basic highway design and layout, drainage study and design, scheduling, traffic control, new project proposals, and evaluating material quantities and costs. Heavily involved in working with computers, consisting mostly of MS Excel and Microsation, with some Geopak exposure, as well as several other type specific programs.

Worked as a Field Engineer for an international Oilfield Services Company in Wireline and Testing (Open-hole Evaluations) in South Texas. Evaluation is accomplished by lowering sophisticated electronic devices (logging tools) into wells in order to measure different physical parameters of the underlying formation, helping to identify any potential oil or gas reservoir. I participated in an extensive six-month training program both in the field and in a classroom setting. Field training emphasized hands-on training and knowledge of the oil and gas industry, from the start of the exploration process through actual well completion. Classroom training involved advanced techniques of Log Interpretation, Tool Theory, as well as advanced Geology.
