As the onboarding manager for a developing company I wore many hats. My job description as onboarding was to take fresh clients signed by sales and get them set up and shipping with us. This process let to managing multiple departments to get the client ready. I would meet regularly with sales beforehand so we understood the scope of work, then meet with the clients to verify and discover new requests. I would then set up tasks with IT, development team, finance, operations, customer support, and if needed, upper management. While organizing the teams' work to ensure everything the client needs is not only complete, but done in a timely and cost effective manner, I would also create their account and train them on our system. I also created and trained the billing support team, I trained new employees on our system, and created new meetings with sales, billing, and finance to go over questions and new clients. Ruby Has was new to the fulfillment industry and the onboarding department did not exist when I started. I built the department; and along with the excellent team Ruby Has was able to win awards like Excellence in Customer service and be on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies.

I was managing 16 accounts from answering phones, processing returns/refunds to talking with their management to help plan their next steps. I managed over many different people directly and also was in charge of training them and other new employees on our internal system.
