My practice focuses on M&A, finance transactions, and advising on governance and corporate and securities law. I work with private equity and venture capital funds, as well as companies ranging from multinationals to early-stage ventures across industries like life sciences, technology, manufacturing, and mining.I lead the Blakes Ventures initiative and am also the founder of Nitro powered by Blakes, the entry-level emerging company program within the Blakes Ventures platform, providing flexible legal services across a broad array of expertise to qualified emerging companies in the technology space.I’m passionate about supporting the arts in Canada, with a focus on Canadian and Indigenous art. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Opera Company and the Curatorial Committee for Canadian and Indigenous Art at the Art Gallery of Ontario. In my spare time, I enjoy sailing with my family and racing in local and international competitions.
