I'm no different from anyone else - I want to make a difference. In the nearly 20 years I've worked for the County of Riverside, I've been able to do this while at the same time growing in experience, education, and training. I like to think this made me an expert in how to get things done in the fourth largest California county.What next? As the entrepreneur of my own career, I decided on a "restart," and grabbed an opportunity for additional formal education. This approach had served me well in the past. As of the writing of this, I am in the final semester of earning a masters in leadership. Recent assignments as the hospital CFO and the RCIT CIO have challenged me to up my game, and given me a chance to put the theoretical into practice. I'm excited about these and the opportunities to come.
