I currently lead a division at Lynker focused on fisheries, nearshore, and coastal resource science and policy for government and non-profits clients and partners. I have a fantastic 10 person management team who oversee approximately 100 driven and committed people in my division. My primary professional interests are to do a great job for those we serve, provide my team the tools and resources they need, and to ensure that coastal and marine resources are being managed with both nature and society in mind. People benefit from these resources economically, recreationally, culturally, spiritually. Since they are public trust resources, we cannot simply lock them up and throw away the key. We must find ways to conserve them so they can be used sustainably for generations. I have a diverse education and work background in coastal and fisheries resources and have had positions in environmental education, social science research, and organization leadership in government, non-profits, and private companies.
