Christopher Holmes is a Network Administrator at ESL Federal Credit Union. Colleagues describe him as "In the past five years, it has been a privilege to work with Christopher Holmes. Chris and I were colleagues at Encompass: Resources for Learning. He was a school program leader and mathematics specialist. I know Chris’ work well, as I was the Administrator for Research and Evaluation. My role was to assess and plan for continuous improvement in the program Chris led. Chris supervised the coordination and implementation of academic intervention programming for high school students. He did this in a partnership program between the city school district, a local high school with unique governance, and an educational agency, Encompass. Chris offered his analytical skills by supporting mathematics intervention. He was adaptable and made an impactful change. He managed program implementation, and its activities with limited guidance and in an environment that was constantly adapting. Because of Chris’ leadership, competencies, and efforts, many students graduated that were not expected to do so. Chris has many professional competencies that will transfer and enhance a future organization because they are part of his character and commitment to high-quality results. In the description above, a theme emerges indicative of his success—the establishment of professional relationships. Chris worked with Encompass leaders, local school leaders, community partners, teachers, parents, and students strategically to build a better system with positive outcomes for those he served.
