Coding has been a passion of mine ever since my first introductory coding course I took in my freshman year of college. I have always loved anything involving computers and the idea of learning how to code and create my own games/software is something that has fascinated me ever since I was a kid. Ever since I made my first Hello World program, I have searched for any resource that could teach me more about any topic involving programming. Some of these topics include game design with the Unity game engine, creating robots with a raspberry pi and GUI development with Java. My time in college as a computer science student has taught me many things, such as computer logic and design, discrete mathematics, algorithms, data structures, programming languages such as Haskell, Python and JavaScript and advanced topics such as machine learning. I have gained a lot from my educational experience, not only in the knowledge I have acquired, but also in the connections I made and the soft skills I picked up as well. As I am now close to graduation, I hope to soon begin my career as a software engineer and am excited at the opportunities and experiences I will have. I hope to be able to create software/technologies that I am proud of and that makes an positive impact on the world and others.
