About Christopher Johnson

Since joining Bank of China in July 2015 as Vice President, Senior Manager, Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) , Durban Branch, my understanding of the product range of this Global Bank is to assist and facilitate South African businesses within my market with the Chinese opportunities in order to encourage more repeat business from my existing clients while building new relationships with prospective clients. Building long term professional and collaborative relationships externally through engagement, understanding and delivering solutions consistently are key to client satisfaction. My current role has the responsibility of using my 34 years experience in Banking to create awareness of the Bank of China Brand, growing the client base in KZN and East Coastal Regions in both Corporate & Large businesses by building on the Oceanic Growth strategy between China and South Africa and promoting Remimbi Business. In addition I am also tasked with growing an investment and property lending portfolio.
