I enlisted in the Air Force in June 2002 as a C-17A Crew Chief. My first duty station was Charleston AFB, SC. I spent four years as a Flying Crew Chief and Maintenance Qualification Training Program Instructor. I was then selected as a Crew Chief for Air Force One at Andrews AFB, MD. From 2007-2013, I was fully qualified on and maintained the VC-25A (Boeing 747) and the C-32A (Boeing 757) for President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama. In January 2014, I became a Senior Logistics Readiness Controller for the Tanker/Airlift Control Center, where we managed the maintenance needs for all off-station Air Force aircraft on priority missions. In January 2017, I became one of three enlisted members in the DoD who conducted aircraft maintenance evaluations/inspections for the Commercial Airlift Division. I had oversight of 88 air carriers who had contracts with the DoD and inspected their companies from top to bottom, including ramp inspections of all their aircraft/helicopters. In 2020, I was moved to McConnell AFB, KS, and was put in charge of the lone KC-135 Aircraft Maintenance Unit as Superintendent. In May 2022, I started a Skillbridge internship at Boeing for the F-15 Sustainment Team and was hired full-time in September 2022.I have my Associates degree in Aerospace Maintenance from the Community College of the Air Force, my Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Louisville, and my Master's in Business Administration from Western Kentucky University. In addition to my degrees, I have my Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant License, my Federal Communications Commission General Radiotelephone Operator’s License with a Radar Endorsement, my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, my Project Management Professional certification through the Project Management Institute and a Performance Management Certificate through Washington University in St. Louis.
