As the Executive Director of the Great American Songbook Foundation, I have a proven track record of cultivating strategic partnerships, implementing national program models, and leading board and staff operations to expand our organization's impact. With over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, I have developed and managed education and outreach initiatives that align with our mission, enhanced operational efficiencies, and maximized revenue through grants, partnerships, and fundraising campaigns.I am passionate about creating educational opportunities and fostering inclusive, strategic environments where staff and students thrive. My experience includes board management, financial oversight, marketing leadership, collections management, and developing nationally recognized programs such as the Songbook Academy® and Perfect Harmony®. I have successfully built relationships with cultural institutions, including the Grammy Museum, as one of its seven worldwide Cultural Affiliates.Before my role at the Songbook Foundation, I was an educator and Special Education Coordinator in New York City. I developed individualized programs for students with disabilities, advised staff, and contributed to school leadership. My background also includes leadership roles in the hospitality industry, where I developed strong skills in operations management, team leadership, and customer service. I’m also a singer and actor and have performed in theaters across the country and toured and recorded with the award-winning jazz octet, Pieces of 8.
