Under the leadership of the Dean, the assistant dean collaborates on and manages all academic processes and policies for the College of Business programs. This position has a three-fold focus: Quality of Curriculum and Instruction, Assessment, and ACBSP accreditation. The assistant dean communicates and collaborates with stakeholders across the University, i.e. OIRA, Office of Academic Affairs, to ensure the Colleges curriculum, course quality, assessment program, program prioritization, and course enrollment optimization efforts meet the goals of the University, and that HLC and ACBSP best practices for achieving faculty quality and excellence have been followed. The assistant dean provides advocacy for the College’s assessment strategy and policy, for continuous improvement of student outcomes, for achievement of ACBSP for all programs, and for the overall health and quality of assessments. This position works closely with the College’s Associate Dean, Chairs, Director of Academic Operations, the Faculty Excellence Coach, and College Faculty, the University’s offices (UG and Graduate) of Admissions and Student Services, the Registrar, the University’s OIRA, Office of Academic Affairs, and technical support services of Blackboard, IT, and IDT. This position also encompasses the role of the ACBSP Champion, assisting the Dean in the College’s continued efforts toward achieving ACBSP accreditation. This essential position is part of the Dean’s Leadership Team.

Oversee the daily operations of the Educational Technology Department whose mission is to provide world-class academic technology programs for K-12 public, private, and corporate settings; to provide instructional design services to our college; to consult and service instructional design across CUC colleges; and to provide technical consultancy and services to K-12 public/private and corporate educational settings.

2006-2012: Administer the daily operations, scheduling, budgeting, articulation with partner schools, curriculum development, standards alignment, academic integrity, and community relations as pertaining to the English department.1994-2006: English teacher
