Conducting statistical genomics research under supervision of Kasper Hansen and Jeff Leek.Teaching Assistant for Methods in Biostatistics I-IV, a core course for masters and PhD candidates in departments of Biostatistics and Epidemiology, respectively.

Designed and taught a brand-new computational genomics curriculum for 12-14 undergraduate STEM students with no prior coding experience under the 10-week Broad Summer Research Program (BSRP) remotely for summers of 2020 and 2021. Wrote and delivered lectures, discussions, and problem sets in fundamentals of computing, statistics, and bioinformatics centered on cancer genomics. Facilitated a month-long problem based learning group research project and trained project mentors for students, ranging from cancer biology to neuroscience.

Worked with Blood Biopsy Team in development of targeted methylation assay to understand tissue of origin from cell-free DNA. Led bioinformatics pipeline design and analysis, and co-led molecular biology experimental design. Contributed to clinical analysis of minimal residual disease monitoring for patients with cancer after surgery via duplex sequencing.Worked with Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia in functional characterization of preclinical models via integrative analysis of genomic, CRISPR viability, and drug sensitivity data.Mentored high school student intern through Broad Summer Scholars Program (BSSP).Inaugural cohort of Broad Cancer Genomics Scholars Program (BCGS).

Implemented and optimized structural prediction models to infer text chunking and handwriting character recognition, focusing on Conditional Random Fields (CRFs). Reformulated supervised learning algorithms into semi-supervised learning algorithms.

Taught environmental science, outdoors education, and leadership development for middle and high school students from NYC in the Berkshire Mountains. Co-led backcountry trips in backpacking and canoeing for 10-12 students for 3 to 5 days and provided residential supervision.

Taught after-school programming for elementary and middle school students from the city of Cambridge in all academic subjects. Facilitated student relationship development through community building activities, arts, and sports.

Analyzed tensor decomposition techniques for applications in high-dimensional image processing. Implemented higher-order Singular Value Decomposition for compression and storage performance analysis.
