Greenwoods is an insurance litigation firm. I work in the subrogated recoveries department where I recover insurers outlays following, fires, floods, subsidence and product defects. I also do policy coverage work and the occasional piece of shipping law. Completed studies to become a chartered financial analyst.

I am an Associate Partner in the London Property Recovery and Coverage team at Greenwoods Solicitors (a trading name of Plexus Law which is part of the Parabis Group). I provide advice at each stage of the claims process namely: coverage, defences to third party claims and subrogated recoveries and have particular familiarity with policy binders, captive insurance and reinsurance schemes and arrangements. My client's include main market and Lloyd's insurers, blue chip companies and their captive insurers.

During my second year I undertook a three month secondment at the Association of British Insurers where I presented the Insurance Industries response to the Consumer Insurance Bill (Now the Consumer Insurance (Disclosure and Representation) Act 2013) to the Law Commissioner, David Hertzell and prepared and presented a report to the ABI Fraud Committee on how insurers could co-ordinate to reduce opportunistic insurance fraud.
