Getaround is a world leading connected car-sharing platform, on a mission towards empowering people to carshare everywhere. (Role made redundant due to global restructure).* Part if the UK senior management team I led on the company’s car-sharing growth strategy, responsible for all public and external affair activities which included:Defining and deploying Getaround’s public policy, stakeholder and outreach strategy, for the London and UK markets.* Identifying and securing active engagements with major industry stakeholders including London Councils, TfL, DfT, SEUK and CoMoUK. * Unlocking new business opportunities by negotiating premium on-street parking partnerships with several London boroughs.* Actively engaging with relevant Ministries and Administrations to position Getaround as a key interlocutor among policy makers on major industry topics.* Designed and secured interest in a car club service, a shared asset model for corporate pool fleets (with integrated carpooling) and a multimodal community car club proposition with client service brochures and a corresponding internal business plan.

Led on the public affairs, public policy and external stakeholder management, including the development of a regulatory engagement plan with the then newly formed Payments Systems Regulator (PSR).

I was the account lead working on behalf of a multi-million-pound British technology transport network company, Hailo Technologies (acquired by Daimler in 2015), to support their CEO and UK board to implement a global restructuring and growth strategy.

The 40/40 Campaign was developed at the request of Prime Minister David Cameron with Campaign Managers trained under the direction of Lynton Crosby and Jim Messina.

The Patients Association is an independent patient charity campaigning for improvements in health and social care for patients. I was the public affairs lead responsible for the drafting of the charity’s external affairs and public relations strategy. During my tenure I co-authored the NHS ‘Duty of Candour’, contributed to the Mid-Staffordshire Public Inquiry, set up the APPG for Patient Involvement and sat on the DH Medicine & Supply Chains Panel.
