About Christopher Marvel
In my work as a Farmer and Horticulturalist I have gained experience in estate and ornamental gardens, organic vegetable gardens, growing mushrooms, as wells as woodland gardening, and farming. This has allowed me to experience firsthand the importance of environmental stewardship; moreover, it has provided me with opportunities to grow and propagate perennials, annuals, cultivate mushrooms, and teach people how to compost, garden, and eat healthily through vegetable gardening and cooking demonstrations. I have the skills required for chain saw work and tree felling, irrigation, pool maintenance, and skid steer and tractor work. Furthermore, I have learned identification of trees, shrubs, annuals, and perennials, along with ornamental pruning, garden maintenance and design, and holiday decorating. I love my work because I believe in connecting with others in ways that will strengthen who they are and improve their quality of life. Life should be experienced within a community setting; as individuals help one another, the community as a whole will become stronger.
