Responsible for faith formation for the parish and liaison for the social justice work of the community.

Establish an overall evangelization plan, formulate and direct activities that fulfill the parish's vision for lifelong growth in faith, implement ways to reach out to active, inactive, and unchurched individuals, oversee all sacramental preparation programs and lead the RCIA.

Formed a vision for the parish for how to move it into the future. Oversaw staff and worked with the different parish committees and ministries, preached, maintained and built up the parish community to continue its colorful and storied history.

Planned retreats for students and staff, oversaw the service requirement for students and identified opportunities for students, taught religion classes, planned school liturgies, highlighted the Franciscan charism within the school and its activities.

Created spiritual support and resource materials for the staff though: prayer services, newsletters, an interfaith calendar, workshops; created and ran formation opportunities for the executive leadership, created interfaith awareness, instilled an awareness of the Vicentian charism of the founding sister's community.

Taught Christology to seniors, helped with school liturgies, taught stained glass making to parents in the evenings.

Ran the RCIA process, organized and ran the Lenten and fall lecture series, offered faith formation classes to parishioners, offered baptismal preparation classes to parents, helped organize and mentor the Young Professionals group, supervised seminarian interns, helped coordinate and support the English and Spanish speaking CCD classes, created semi annual retreats for staff and days of recollection for parish, offered adult confirmation classes for (mostly) young professionals not confirmed.

Worked on drawings for life care facilities (The Jefferson in N. VA), schools and did design development for the Washington Naval Yard cannon facility.
