As a Template Artist, I was a part of a small team of designers who would create and maintain the thousands of templates in use for the company's "Online DIY" and offline signboard and brochure designs. This role was a mix of graphic design, UX, and customer service as the templates were required to be fluid, interactive documents which could meet the client's every need.

Beginning with ABC Photosigns, I was a full-time Layout Artist on a small team of designers. This role included manually laying out designs for real estate marketing material and making adjustments to individual signboard and brochure designs on a case-by-case basis as the project required. After only 4 months in this role, I was promoted to the Templates team.

As Dorel Australia's Instruction Manual writer, I created the manuals for a wide range of children’s products (including vehicle safety seats, portable and permanent cots, strollers, furniture and home accessories) across many of Australia’s leading brands (Mother’s Choice, Maxi-Cosi, Quinny, Safety 1st). My role covered the instructional copy, product photography, booklet layout and design of all manuals, as well as the design of stickers and labelling as a graphic designer. In this role, my responsibilities included the on-time and accurate delivery of all instruction manuals, printing preparation, as well as delivering improvements to existing manuals and increasing overall ease-of-use for parents and users. I achieved these demands through the utilisation of strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task projects effectively; with an acute eye for detail, and confident ability as a writer and designer.
