Currently focused on preparing production-ready deployments, I’m assisting in peer reviews and refining our processes through refactoring and automation. As a full-stack data scientist, my efforts encompass the entire data science lifecycle, from data collection and transformation to model deployment and monitoring. I’m automating end-to-end workflows within Azure Data Factory, which seamlessly integrates with Azure Machine Learning models for model training, predictions, and refreshes. Additionally, I’m implementing auditing suites for data validation and model accuracy, leveraging predictions and metrics to ensure high standards across automated processes.

Developed a topic classification model through few-shot classification and implemented with Hugging Face’s SetFit module. The model was then deployed in Microsoft Azure and is used in an Azure pipeline to automatically make predictions daily.

Assisted in Data Science projects within the personal lines department. Built code base for identifying non-listed drivers and mining surcharge information from un-structured text.

Serving as grader and TA for courses involving Complex Systems and Data Science.

As I help students I must lead them in how to be successful in their courses and develop a solid foundation in skills that will allow them to succeed. I have worked with students in all three levels of Calculus courses, and have tutored students in overall test-taking skills.

I worked in Randall Headrick’s lab working with organic semi-conductors. Using the scientific method I helped a graduate student to prepare samples to be used for the four probe electron mobility test.

I was hired as a grocery clerk where my duties allowed me to gain organizational skills and book keeping. I gained flexibility as I was trusted to move from the grocery department to liquor, meat, and produce when department staff were low. As I gained experience in these roles I was tasked with training newly hired staff members.
