Within my time at Ocado I learnt various skills with the main one problem solving in highpressure situations. While being a delivery driver, I made it certain to ensure customers got thereorders on time while displaying a good image for the company I work for and for myself. We would need to carry out vehicle checks before departing and going on route. We could be given between 15-50 drops per day and could travel up to 200 miles for a shift. Shifts could start as early as 5am and with late shifts could finish at 12:30am.

As it was my first full time job Asda gave me an idea of what the working world was like. I learned all the basics here such as communication skills, learning about data and analysis and generallylearning how to work for the first time in my life. A day in the life at Asda would include unloading a full lorry and by the end of the shift, all products need to be worked and put on the shop floor.
