Elected to serve as chair of the Fall 2024 ProDev committee. Designed 4 learning events to help ~20 honor society candidates develop the necessary resources to grow their academic and professional goals, including resume reviews, LinkedIn profile workshops, industry career panel, and mock interview practice.

Undergraduate research assistant aiding the Lareau Lab in studying and manipulating post-transcriptional processes to better understand and control gene expression. I am currently supporting a computational pre-mRNA alternative splicing project for allele specific disease gene silencing.

Intern aiding the Zhu lab in developing and maintaining pipelines for the analysis of SIMPLE-seq and Paired-Tag single-cell multi-modal data. Multiplexing RNA, histone modification, and DNA methylation/hydroxymethylation NGS data for downstream analysis of cellular development and disease.

Former undergraduate research assistant aiding the Clark Lab in developing single-cell multi-omic methods and tools to study neuroimmunology and virus-host interactions. I built a thermoelectric heater/cooler unit for a syringe pump that is used by microfluidic devices to encapsulate single cells in agarose-hydrogel beads. This project has allowed me to master 2D and 3D modeling tools and develop documentation techniques to record the design protocol of the unit.
