Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Transporation Services Department

Supervise and coordinate the activities of Lead Persons Floor & Project Technician and Housekeepers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of the facility. Assign tasks to workers and inspect completed work for conformance to standards. At Magee I also supervised the day-to-day cleaning operations of COVID-19 care units. This included servicing rooms with COVID+ patients, and overseeing the specialized training of assigned housekeepers

Coordinate the daily activities of the department, including assisting with employee training and performance assessment. Supervise the transporters in the movement of patients and equipment to and from assigned areas. Assists in complaint resolution.

Efficiently transporting patients and equipment to and from nursing units and other departments throughout the hospital in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position walking over seven miles, and interacting with patients and contributing to their quality of care.
