Currentcomplete prototype model.Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.Oversee and set up standard test apparatus or devises test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production model.Pull in various cables on-board naval ships including, power, CAT 5, CAT 6, heliax, coax, and fiber optic.Oversee and may adjusts, calibrates, aligns, and modifies circuitry and components and records effects on unit performance.May write technical reports and develops charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system's operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations.Checks functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions. I have succesful helped with the finishing projects of eight ships between LPD and DDG class naval ships, installing SPS-73 radar systems, and Starlink data systems.
