Christopher Stone is an experienced leader at all levels of government and the private sector. He has over twenty years of experience leading change as a strategist and planner in a diverse set of challenges including economic development, legislative affairs, international affairs, industrial policy, and national security. In national security, he has over a decade of experience in Washington DC supporting and leading strategy, policy and integration efforts in and with forums such as Congress, Department of Commerce, Office of Secretary of Defense and White House councils. This work has been in roles as diverse as consultant and Presidential appointee in space policy and strategy across two Administrations of different parties. He has appeared in numerous journals and publications such as Kyodo News, Financial Times, Defense News, Space News, The Hill, and National Defense magazine. In addition, he has provided commentary on CNBC, ABC 7 Government Matters, The Space Show, radio, and numerous podcasts. He's a conference speaker, appearing at such events like the International Space Development Conference, Space Command Lecture Series, America's Future Series, and the 2021 International Aerospace Symposium in South KoreaHe has advised and served on the staffs of two U.S. Senators from Missouri, on various issues and matters of policy and strategy and some of his work has been included in the Presidential Daily Brief. In addition, he was a candidate for state political office. He has executive business and industrial policy leadership experience at both the municipal and Federal level. He is a decorated Air Force veteran of the Global War on Terror with experience in air, missile and space operations earning such awards as: Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Commendation Medal. three Air Force Commendation Medals, two Officer of the Quarter awards, as well as a Remote Combat Effects Campaign Medal with Three Service Stars.
