I’m married to my wife Renee going on 19 years now. We have two wonderful children together. Professional Background After attending and completing the Telecommunications program at East Central Technical College in Fitzgerald Georgia, Chris began his career in Telecommunications at Select Tel Systems in Albany Georgia in 2002, as a Structured Cable Installer. After that he went on to work with Mediacom in 2003 located in Valdosta Georgia as a Cable TV installer. While at Mediacom Chris held various roles such as Service Technician, Headend Technician, and Systems Technician. His final role at Mediacom was as Hybrid Fiber Coax Supervisor where he over seen the maintenance activity for the South Georgia service Area across sixteen counties. After Mediacom in 2016, Chris took a role as an Outside Plant Engineer ll, with Windstream Communications located in Moultrie Georgia. During his stay at Windstream Chris was responsible for FTTH design and Copper pair maintenance and extensions in existing phone exchanges located across Southeast Georgia. He also has an extensive background in Permitting of State and local right of ways for placement of underground and aerial plant construction. At this point he has 20 plus years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Chris started with Conexon in February of 2022, as a Fiber Construction QC Inspector in Ocilla Georgia Chris was promoted to FTTH Construction Project Manager in early 2023, for the Irwin EMC project. He looks forward to working with Conexon for many years to come. Chris enjoys interacting with the members and employes to deliver fiber to every home in the rural areas that Conexon serves.
