Christopher Anselmo is an award-winning songwriter and playwright. His musicals include the New York Times Critic’s Pick adaptation of THE POUT-POUT FISH (TheaterWorksUSA / New Victory Theater), ATLANTIC (Edinburgh Festival, AMTP / Royal Conservatoire of Scotland); HAUNTED TRAIN (TNC); FABLE (NYMF); and FOUNTAIN, which has received developmental support from Asolo Repertory Theater and has been a finalist for the O’Neill’s National Musical Theater Conference, Rhinebeck Writers Retreat and DGF Fellows. He works for composer Jeanine Tesori as Associate and Assistant on her projects, including KIMBERLY AKIMBO, SOFT POWER, Steven Spielberg’s WEST SIDE STORY and her upcoming Metropolitan Opera commission. Member of ASCAP, Dramatists Guild and the BMI Advanced Workshop, and Northwestern alum.
