Review all advertising materials for compliance with state and federal laws. Ensure overall company compliance with regulatory requirements with an emphasis on preparing the company for a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) audit. Analyze and interpret statutes, rules and regulations. Design and conduct compliance audits based on the CFPB modules. Recommend and drive change to company policies, procedures, self-testing or other processes as necessary to reduce risk and increase compliance.

Verify detailed account information such as Note date, rate, payment, legal entity, customer name and county recording information to process Lost Note Affidavits. Record retrieval from Iron Mountain and Nationwide Title Clearing (NTC) for branches/centers. Assist in various remediation projects as instructed by legal or compliance.

Research all complaints for personal and real estate accounts (written and verbal) that are directed to CitiFinancial Executive offices via state and federal agencies. Provide detailed written responses and possible resolutions using judgment and following company policies to defend CitiFinancial’s position. Completed responses detailing account information as required by a Qualified Written Request or Notice of Error. Maintain daily reports on the number of new and closed issues as well as tracking the average response time for each complaint.

Supervise a team of investigators for potential Predatory Lending issues involving origination of mortgage accounts. Manage inbound calls on accounts opened with optional credit insurance and facilitate cancellation of credit insurance to meet Company/State compliance. Answer questions in reference to account information and take escalated calls from customers that can not be handled at the representative level. Oversee the research of customer accounts to ensure accuracy. Evaluate and write quarterly and annual reviews for my immediate reports.

Supervise a team of processors by establishing team goals, assign loans to processors and maintain pipeline reviews. Ensure team is processing loans following seven day productivity plan. Save and resell canceled loans. Conduct annual personnel reviews of team members and provide feedback.
