For Hoist August 2014 – February 2015• Developed marketing strategies for achieving brand's annual sales in 200 Kroger stores in Ohio and Northern Kentucky, including preparation of a written report.• Assisted a team of select apprentices in completion of branding fundamentals for a start-up company in Cincinnati, Ohio, including: brand purpose, brand positioning, brand benefit, tagline, brand equity, brand statement, brand benefits, strategies for launching brand fundamentals, and copywriting.• Presented the outcomes of the project to the company's president and head of marketing, NKU’s Board of Regents, Dean’s Advisory Board, and Northern Kentucky Community at 2015 NKU Celebration of Student Research and Creativity.• Had final individual project nominated for AMA’s 2015 Pinnacle Award, 2016 Posters-at-the-Capitol, and considered for publication on Bluezzoon.For Rubicoin January 2014 – September 2014• Assisted in completion of a semester-long client-based marketing/branding project for an Irish start-up company focusing on developing brand equity, brand awareness, and brand engagement.• Completed series of three individual project tasks, each requiring secondary data research and analysis, target marketing, branding, and marketing mix recommendations, including their rationale, presenting the project results in a format of a two-page report - requiring both writing and creative skills.• Worked with a select group of other apprentices to merge individual projects into one final team project, and presented the final team project to the company’s CEO and COO via Skype teleconference.• Had final individual project reviewed by the CEO and COO of the company, independent branding consultants, and subsequently nominated for AMA’s 2015 Pinnacle Award, selection for 2015 Posters-at-the-Capitol, presented at the Virtual Business Center Showcase and published on Bluezzoon.
