As a Director of Consulting, I have demonstrated experience and success in client management and relationships, project management, staff development and onboarding, and strategic planning and monitoring of goals. I have a passion for infusing diversity, equity, and inclusion into my role and management practices and find joy in supporting team members through problems of practice and consulting protocols.

My work at TNTP has consisted of the following:Managing and leading critical components of Pre-Service Training Programs, including:- NYC Teaching Fellows, where I designed a 7 part equity series based on understanding, reflecting, and undoing implicit bias for over 1200 teachers, helped create a mid-year Fellows program overseeing the training and instruction of Fellows and coaches, and supported our work in hiring our 200+ summer staff, training them, and collaborating with our clients in the NYC DOE. - CMS Teaching Residency Program, where I served as Director, Summer Field Experience and Training. 100% of our teacher trainees for summer 2019 responded that they felt welcomed and valued by program staffSupporting Curriculum Implementation, including:- Incorporating culturally responsive teaching practices with our clients in Lexington, KY as they implemented a new math curriculum- Facilitated virtual and in-person training sessions for teachers of all levels in Rapides, LA during their 5th year of the Eureka math curriculum implementationLead the LGBTQ+ Affinity Group, ensuring our voices are represented and heard by leadership at all levels

During my two years at Ed White High School, I was in charge of the student government club. In my 2nd year of teaching, 76% of my students passed their Geometry EOC compared to the state average of 64% and district average of 56%. For the 2013-2014 school year, I taught 8th grade math and Algebra 1 at KIPP Impact Middle School. 88% of my Algebra 1 students passed their Algebra 1 EOC as compared to the 66% state average and 58% district average.I was nominated twice for Teacher of the Year.During the 2014-2015 school year, I was a Manager, Teacher Leadership Development with Teach For America Jacksonville. I managed and developed 30 corps members during their first or second year of teaching and helped run a math pilot program for instruction.Additionally, during the summers of 2013, 2014, and 2015 I worked for Teach For America Institutes coaching 12 corps members and leading two summer school sites with 65 corps members and 8 full-time summer staff.

I worked with graduate students to increase their voice and influence among the student and academic body.

I planned training for our summer staff and organized events for summer orientation for 2000 parents and students.
