I am an event production professional with a specialization in Live Entertainment. My strengths include service oriented leadership and creative problem solving. I have created multimillion dollar events on time and on budget including A-list celebrity concerts as well as intimate events. I am interested in continuing the opportunity to work with a talented team to create innovative events. Here are 5 facts about me-1. As a Production Manager, I’ve produced over 200 events, one of my highlights is partnering with Disney Channel to produce the entertainment for Disney Channel Fan Fest, a one-day festival style event that included a parade, concert, panel discussions, celebrity meet & greet, and interactive fan activations which also live streamed on YouTube and later rebroadcast on Disney Channel. 2. I identify as a servant leader who strives to see how I can best serve my team while leading them. As a leader I want to remove roadblocks, but I am also willing to roll up my sleeves and help get the job done- no task is above or below me. On event day, I pride myself on leading through calm waters or controlled chaos rolling with any new challenges and on the spot decision making that arise as many live events have- all with a smile on my face. 3. I originally went to school to go into the medical field; however, growing up I always had a passion for the arts and as many my age, didn’t know there were careers outside of a performer in the arts. During my “college” job at Disneyland, non-performer jobs became apparent and the opportunities began. 12 years later in the entertainment industry, I have found my calling producing live shows and events. Because of my science background, I am able to tap into both my creative side as well as analytic side. I will help push creative to flourish while still delivering on time and on budget. 4. While working the production of Disneyland Forever Firework Spectacular (first pyrotechnic show to include projection mapping in Disney Parks) I found myself at 3:00 AM standing between the creative force behind “It’s a Small World Holiday” and the music producer for “Fantasmic!” and realized the minds behind some of my childhood favorites were now my peers. This has shaped my view on creating entertainment and events knowing these experiences will one day be memories of others. 5. In all, I enjoy the process of producing events with a great team. Leading a team and watching them fire on all cylinders is just as rewarding as watching the faces of guests and fans enjoying the events I produce.
