Christopher E. Bruce is a Policy & Advocacy Director at the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia, where he leads the organization's legislative and community advocacy efforts to protect and advance civil rights and liberties for all Georgians. He has over six years of experience in this role, during which he has successfully advocated for criminal justice reform, voting rights, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and immigrants' rights at the state and local level.Bruce is also a community attorney, political consultant, and activist, with a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Georgia State University. He has worked on various political campaigns, including the Stacey Abrams for Governor campaign in 2022, as well as served on the DeKalb County Board of Ethics and founded the DeKalb Young Professionals. He is a member of several professional and civic organizations, and a 2013 Fellow of the New Leaders Council. His mission is to use his skills and expertise in law, policy, and communication to create positive and lasting change for his community.
