For over a decade, I've been deeply involved in entrepreneurship, serving as a co-founder and co-owner alongside my best friend and business partner. Together, we've built a diverse portfolio of companies spanning various industries, including workforce technology, restaurants, hospitality, and real estate development and management.Our primary focus has been on developing and managing real estate assets in Utah, particularly in Summit and Wasatch counties. Some notable communities we've been involved with include Empire Pass at Deer Valley, Blackstone at the Canyons, Black Rock Mountain Resort, Glenwild, Newpark Town Center, Newpark Resort, Newpark Flats Apartments, The Parkite on Main Street, and Tuhaye. Across our owned entities, we offer a comprehensive range of real estate management services, overseeing projects totaling over $100 million in development, managing annual budgets of $15 million, and handling various aspects such as owner relations, board governance, marketing, public relations, grounds maintenance, managerial finance, capital reserve planning, transportation programming, strategic consulting, information technology, and personnel services.In addition to our real estate ventures, we've explored other entrepreneurial endeavors. We launched an innovative lifestyle and movement startup, founded and learned from a failed on-demand workforce technology company, and successfully owned and sold a fast-casual Mediterranean concept restaurant in Portland, Oregon. Throughout these experiences, my partner and I demonstrate adaptability, persistence, passion, courage, innovation, creativity, vision, curiosity, and decisiveness.Beyond business, I've been dedicated to serving various community-based non-profits. I've held positions such as Vice Chair of the Utah Tourism Industry Association, Chairman of the Park City Chamber of Commerce, President of the Park City Area Lodging Association, and Chairman of the Mountain Regional Water Board.

As a co-founder and partner at Newpark Resort, I've been fortunate to be part of an exceptional team that conceptualized and launched this distinctive development project. Working alongside talented visionaries and mentors from the project's inception has been a privilege.Today, I am grateful to continue supporting the next generation of leaders alongside my business partner. Together, we oversee the ongoing operation of one of Park City's most esteemed boutique hospitality projects, ensuring its continued success and reputation for excellence.

During my tenure as the inaugural General Manager of a startup boutique resort, my leadership contributed to significant achievements. Our efforts led to Newpark being awarded the Best of State, Vacation Resort title twice, in both 2015 and 2018. Additionally, we consistently ranked among the top five hotels in Park City on TripAdvisor.com.Newpark Resort also received the prestigious Certificate of Excellence award for over 15 consecutive years, a recognition reserved for the top 10 percent of accommodations on TripAdvisor. Moreover, Expedia honored us with the Insider Select Award, placing Newpark among the top 500 hotels worldwide. These accolades underscored our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Hyatt acquired Two Roads Hospitality, an international lifestyle hotel management company with a unique collection of distinctive brands, including Alila, Destination Hotels, Joie de Vivre, Thompson and tommie brands. Through the addition of Two Roads, its established lifestyle brands and the management agreements for the majority of its 85 properties in eight countries, Hyatt expanded its brand presence into 23 new markets while enhancing its offerings in lifestyle hotel experiences and wellbeing. This acquisition included Destination Hotel's interest in our partnership - Destination Hotels Utah, and Destination Hotel's only Utah property - Newpark Resort. After a year within Hyatt's platform, Hyatt transferred its ownership and management of Destination Hotels Utah and Newpark Resort to Newpark Group Holding Company.

With growth aspirations ever-present as an entrepreneur, my partnership engaged Destination Hotels in joint-venture, creating Destination Hotels Utah. The focus remained core to our purpose - deliver local authenticity of experience versus a sea of sameness. Newpark Resort was Utah's first and only Destination Hotel.
