Summarizing all of my skills in one paragraph is quite a challenge. My career started in IT Support working with high volume CRM/SFA companies. While working in IT, I was heavily exposed to the SDLC. While not involved with the teams at the time, I was able to learn quite a bit about methodologies, project management, & best practices. After discussing my career path with a close friend, who happened to be a QA automation specialist. He suggested manual QA testing, and I took to it like a duck to water. My skills from IT allowed me to not only identify defects in the code but also provide troubleshooting, steps to reproduce, and any information which could help the development team determine root cause. My ability to comprehend high level code and architecture made it effortless to explain potential issues in a way that both development and Program Management teams could understand. As my career progressed, my skills as a tester and leader grew rapidly. I was quickly identified as a candidate for advancement due to my ability to think strategically and logically while keeping the task at hand in mind. I was promoted to QA lead and assigned a team with both US and India resources. I have no issue rolling up my sleeves and jumping in with the testers to help ensure a successful deployment. When there is a problem with QA, the business analysts and developers know they can come to me for a swift resolution. I am seeking new opportunities to grow my skills while helping your company achieve their goals. My easy going personality allows me to easily integrate into any team. I am a down to earth person who believes there is no such thing as a problem, only a solution. My personality coupled with my technical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills leads to the success of any team I am working with.
