Responsible for all financial matters and operations of the Fleming Student Administrative Council. Must ensure development of annual budgets, viability of Student Administrative Council financial position and monitor all departments on a regular basis for performance to budget. Prepares monthly recommendations to student council on financial controls requirements. Responsible for all staffing of the Student Administrative Council operations through delegation of authority and direct management of staff. Responsible for liaison with outside suppliers of professional services, including insurance, audit and legal. Liaison with the President concerning review and monitoring of student fees and associated agreements including but not limited to Complex Agreements, Investment in College & Campus and policies affecting students.

Development and ongoing management of working relationships with Fleming College Senior Management, Service Providers and Student Government, to ensure the fiscally responsible and smooth operations of the Fleming SAC businesses and programs.

Provided industry expertise in the non-profit and social services sector to ensure sound and progressive growth of the programs provided by the Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House.

Recruit and manage a team of up to 50 volunteers to provide support for adults living with disabilities. This includes facilitating training by healthcare professionals reporting to universities for students on practicum placement and providing letters of reference for graduate school applications. This position includes managing a recreation team that takes pride in providing unparalleled recreational opportunities for all of our tenants regardless of ability. In addition to this I have been called upon to be Acting Executive Director when required.This includes human resources management, facilities management and financial management.

Providing display design and construction support for industry trade shows. This included logistics, streamlining the order taking process and communications with venue and show operators.

The Whistler Adaptive Sports Program provides outdoor recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities in Whistler BC including Alpine and nordic Skiing, kayaking, cycling and hiking. As a ski instructor and founding member of the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program board I was a member of the team that grew the program from an annual budget of less than $5000/yr to an annual budget of more than $100,000/yr. this increased lessons delivered from approx. 100/yr to more than 500.

In a leadership role I facilitated the social, educational and emotional growth of young adults with disabilities, through program development and community building.
