I lead client engagement with Heads of Programmes and SROs from FCO and DFID. I provide clear and adaptable direction to programmes and programme teams. I also lead the company’s anti corruption strategy.I ensure programmes deliver development results, meet client and beneficiary expectations and deliver internal corporate targets. Since 2017 I have been the Programme Director for the CSSF-funded North Africa Technical Assistance Facility, an innovative demand-led programme that conducts project scoping and design and delivers projects in multiple thematic areas including: governance reform; capacity building; investment attraction; export promotion; education reform; anti corruption; climate change; migration and gender mainstreaming. I provide direction to a team of ten governance, security and justice and economy thematic leads, project managers and coordinators; a five-strong project office in Tunis and country representatives in Morocco, Egypt and Algeria. I was based in Tunis and established the project office there, the company's first in North Africa. I have overseen the design and delivery of over fifty projects from initial scoping, design, proposal development and delivery to evaluation. I have led engagement with senior beneficiaries including Ministers, senior officials and advisers.Since 2017 I have also directed the CSSF-funded anti-corruption programme in Sri Lanka. The project aims to increase the government’s capability and effectiveness in tackling corruption, focussed on judicial reforms and transparency.From 2019 to present I direct an economic reform scoping and design project in Oman. In 2016 and 2017 I was the Team Leader for the Egypt Economic Stability Programme. In 2016 I was interim Programme Manager for the DFID anti-corruption programme in Sierra Leone. In the same year, I directed a project that produced a good governance toolkit in Burma/ Myanmar.

Lead HMRC anti-money policy official and member of the Senior Leadership Team for the AMLS Directorate. I led two dinstict teams - the AML Policy Team, and the Customer Strategy team.

Criminal Finance policy lead for HMRC. Lead HMRC offical for the cross-Government national action plan for the anti-money laundering risk assessment. Lead HMRC official in planning for the Financial Action Taskforce mutual evaluation review of the UK. Co-led a review of transparency in the Tanzania Revenue Authority, part of an HMRC-DFID project.

I supported the Head of Mission daily to deliver strategic objectives. Led relationships with key stakeholders, including US military Regional Command and the British Embassy Kabul. Led the planning process for the transfer of responsibilities from the PRT to the Embassy in advance of PRT closure.

HMG’s policy lead for Afghan police reform. I provided policy advice to senior officials and Ministers. I worked with senior officers in the British Military and UK Police to shape and inform their approach to police training and mentoring to improve outcomes.

Leadership of a team of 65. Coached the management team to develop their leadership skills, confidence and autonomy. Tackling behavioural and conduct issues, making decisions about shifting resources, driving improvement of the repayment process. Accountable for delivering Service Standard targets for repayments to customers. Over 12 months Service Standard performance increased from 86% to 97%, with less resource.
