Mr. Christopher Payne currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Black Knight Patrol Inc. In this role he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily Operations from the strategic level.Prior to being selected as the Chief Operating Officer, Chris has served as Director of Metro Services & Marketing and Director of Operations. In these roles Chris oversaw Black Knight Patrol operations as the organization grew from 2 employees to over 170 operating in five counties. Chris has over 12 years of security experience, previously serving as a Field Operations Supervisor at Cal & Cal Private Protection. Prior to entering the security industry, Mr. Payne was involved in the LAPD Explorer Program for sixyears, graduating the LAPD Explorer Academy in November 2007. During that time, Mr. Payne volunteered countless hours working community events and eventually rose to the rank of Sergeant directly overseeing forty of his peers. During this time, he served as the Co-Chair of the Teen Community Police Advisory Board (CPAB), having been elected to that position by a board of thirty members. Mr. Payne has been recognized by the Los Angeles City Council four times for his volunteer work with the LAPD Youth Programs and was named Explorer of the Year in 2008.
