See the guy above? That's Fred, the Shopping Cart Guy, one of the many Faces of Fred. Check back regularly to see which Fred is up no good next. Fred has done a whole bunch in his career, keeping a roof over his head & food in his belly. And his belly is big. Yes, Shopping Cart Fred likes dumpsters: not only are the lids instata-roof, but there's boundless free food. When it rains, he gets a shower. Fred sez he likes Jersey dumpsters better than in Long Beach bins, as there's no source of running water in California. The Experience Section has a list of stuff I've done in that career called LIFE, with the approximate years and stoopid commentary in parentheses. Truth is, these achievements in no way define me. What defines me is the creative maelstrom that wells up in my being through music, art, writing, science, history, philosophy, psychology, languages, and just about everything else. Well, everything but math. Math sucks - math is evil. I'm really good at it but I absolutely loath it. That, and I'm rather unhinged with a large butt. These truly help define me. Not the list alone, which is in order of discipline. What I'm looking for is an opportunity to do the following:=> Compose music for video games, movies and commercials. => Write stuff for graphic novels, typeset novels, comedic skits & shorts, poems & songs; epithets, slogans, insults & other quaint but disparaging phrases.=> Draw pictures without using crayons, paint pictures & myself into a corner, design logos & graphics, draw on incomplete analyses, act in sketchy ways, complete with drawing pad.=> Lecture on various education subjects: music, art, literature, languages, history, etc., but not math.=> Perform the many characters developed over the years. Every Fred you meet has a role. And no, I do not have a dissociative, multiple personality disorder. Me & the Freds talked that over & we all agree, except Wino Fred who was drunk.Adesso, vi presento la mente deviata di Cristoforo Falcone!
That Inexplicable Thing Called Music

Composer, Arranger, Conductor, Engineer...Oops, Wrong Trade, Performer, Critic, Teacher, SpectatorThat Inexplicable Thing Called Music Dec 1958 - PresentAnywhere There'S Music In The Air....I've been a musician ever since I could remember, which is when I was two days old - no lie. As a toddler, I would make a bee line for ANY musical instrument, pushing my siblings aside in a fervent trample. I love just about any music: classical, jazz, Latin, Uzbekiy folk (which sounds like a yak being strangled), even Balinese Gamelan (which sounds like auto parts with Turret's. I don't like opera, which is like harpies and ogres shouting at each other, and modern country, which is just plain old southern rock with bad lyrics.I compose, perform and teach music in various forms for various ages. I incorporate various methodologies, including tactile, aural, colorization, humor & performance, across the many forms of music to reach a desired affect. Since it's a complex subject, the ensuing sections better detail that unique accomplishment called music.

DisclaimerKeep It Real! Jan 1901 - PresentYour Affected BrainThis my stuff. I thought of it, so don't steal it. I have a really good lawyer. For all those malefactors that would sit in judgement on me, get over your shallow, monolithic selves and grow a creative set...of bones. You take social media too seriously. I'll be remembered long after you're forgotten. So there!I'm pretty legit about everything I say, but no one's perfect. (This is where the rock sails over the crowd and hits the harlot square between the eyes, killing her instantly. And Jesus yells, "Mom!!!)And leave my political/philosophical/religious/whatever views alone. They are mine & not yours to judge in your affected, reptilian brain way, If these upset you, I have more, lots more.To the rest of you, enjoy the ride. Maybe we can collaborate. I welcome the company on this sojourn of knowledge to the Mecca of Creativity. And don't take life so seriously. It's hard enough as it is,

Compositions & ProjectsCompleted & Planned Jan 1976 - PresentMy Seething BrainA composition is a musical piece or set of pieces or movements.A project comprises several media, most specifically, music with writing, poetry, acting or art. But no math...math is evil.Completed means it's done; planned means it is in the works. This is not a complete catalog of all I have started or completed...just the better stuff.Since this interface doesn't allow long format, I've broken things down into components.
