Casino Gaming Enforcement Agent
CurrentThe Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) Enforcement Division is a professional law enforcement agency that focuses its attention on the regulation of Indiana-licensed casinos and the investigations of criminal activity that occurs at and/or is associated with those casinos. ● Work directly with casino department heads and their personnel. Develop and maintain working relationships with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies as necessary, to collaborate and assist in investigations and activities as needed. ● Conducted and/or assisted with over 200 regulatory and criminal cases and investigations.● Effectively gather facts through digital surveillance reviews; the interviewing of suspects, witnesses, and complainants, and properly articulate any regulatory or criminal matters into an incident or case report that is sent to the Indiana Gaming Commission headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana for review. ● Designated as a Field-Training-Agent tasked to develop new agents regarding standard operating procedures and best practices, this may include going through the proper procedure of in-processing for a newly hired casino employee or safeguarding computer software for an electronic gaming device. ● As well as regulating policies of the State of Indiana, I am in contact with the public. Patrons may have numerous concerns; which may be with another patron or the casino. If it is an issue that the casino cannot handle or a legit complaint against the casino itself, I must listen and work towards resolving any conflicts and de-escalating situations in a calm and professional manner
