After being elected into the role in April 2019 I have become the representative of the Postgraduate Research (PGR) School to the Aberdeen University Students Association.In this role I represent over 1000 PGR students on various committees ensuring that the voice of these students is heard in all matters, from education to support and well being. This involves liaising with students to listen and understand what changes can be made to positively impact the PGR experience.

Alongside completing work towards my PhD, assisting in the teaching of undergraduate for courses in pharmacology, physiology and in honors year practical examinations. Responsibilities in marking and invigilating for undergraduate modules.

Supporting and assisting with the everyday running in both the cardiac catheterisation laboratories and interventional radiology special procedures theatres. This includes the transfer of patients through the hospital, assisting with certain procedures within theatre and working together with the nurses and other lab staff to ensure they are ready to preform these procedures in safe and sanitary conditions. This role required strong organisational and communication skills.
