I have helped companies overcome supply-chain challenges for more than 25 years. From optimizing the process of procuring timber from woods through sawmills to working across divisions of a railroad company, I have a deep familiarity with the lumber and transportation industries. I draw from my diversity of experiences to find solutions to complex problems in my roles as Managing Partner at Point Logistics, Partner at Southern Intermodal Xpress, LLC (SIX), and Managing Partner at Hardwoods Unlimited. In 2006, my business partners Mac Taul and John Stimpson and I recognized an emerging transportation need in the Mobile area and launched Point Logistics. As the business grew, we expanded with the formation of an asset-based sister company, which has since merged with another business to become SIX. Each member of this founding team continues to offer a unique skillset to our companies. • Mac comes from a lineage of warehousing and logistics through his family business, Merchants Transfer Co. Ever visionary, Mac spearheads the growth of the business into new domains. • John brings a sharp understanding of transportation and operations. Full of seemingly boundless energy, he is skilled at executing upon a vision and taking strides toward results. • With degrees in economics and forestry, I bring a level-headed, systems-based approach to our leadership team. Constantly considering the bigger picture, I help to ensure our processes work in synchrony.
